FOUNDATION IN GOD'S WORD

1Word is our first "Pillar".  God's Word is the foundation of this Family.  Without God's Word being central to everything we do, we have a foundation of shifting sand.

 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great was its fall.”- Matthew 7: 24-27 NASB

1.  To thirst for relationship with God, so we can know the truth of who He is, and who we are in Him

• Discovering who God is.
• Discovering who we are in Him
• Understanding what constant relationship with the Father looks like daily
• How the Lord seeks constant relationship with the body corporately and individually
• Discovering who He says we are (fruits of the Spirit)
• Understanding and aligning with the truth of His Word.
• Understanding how we become a "living sacrifice"

Learning together...

1. who God is.     

2. who He says we are, in Him. 

3. the truths and promises of His Word and how we apply it daily.

4. , through the Word how this foundation builds us toward a heart of true and proper worship.

*Connecting the dots: A heart rooted in discovering the need for the Father and uncovering who He is and who He says we are, will be moved to thankfulness and will seek a posture of Godly worship
